This is currently an archive page which will be used as the intro for the 2003 Reunion. 

he Annual Brooklands Society Reunion, which is traditionally held on a glorious sunny English summer's day at the Brooklands Museum and race track at Weybridge, falls this year on Sunday the 23rd June 2002, with the gates opening at 09.30.

Last year we assembled over 100 period Bentleys, the year before we featured Aston Martins and this year we are celebrating Brooklands' French Connection - in particular the 75th anniversary of Delage's clean sweep in the 1927 World Grand Prix Championship.

To join us in celebrating Delage's annus mirabilis we are inviting all known owners of period French road and racing cars to bring their cars to Brooklands for a day of Test Hill ascents, driving tests, drives along the Members' Banking - or just to display their cars in the paddock in the front of the Brooklands Museum clubhouse in a general atmosphere of bonhomie and good fun.

Because this year our Reunion has become an international event we are providing more information for both entrants and the paying public than previously so it is most likely that this page will have links to additional content added over the next couple of months and during the more immediate weeks leading up to the event.

Our Annual reunion always, in general terms, follows the same relaxed format but this year we are introducing some new items. There will be two simple driving tests, of the non car breaking variety, consisting of an acceleration and braking test into a 'garage' and a 'round the cones' test.

The programme includes a Grand Parade starting with a Test Hill ascent and en route a photograph  of your car on the Banking as you pass under the Members' Bridge. A commemorative rally plaque will be provided as a memento of the day.

A celebrity reception (at extra cost) during the lunch break will enable visitors to meet Brooklands personalities past and present.
