The Napier Railton Has Come Home For Good!

Our 1998 Reunion saw the Napier Railton, which we recently helped to purchase for the museum, as the centrepiece of a display of Napiers, Railtons and other Brooklands cars. John Cobb's mighty 1933, 168 mph, 24 litre Napier aero-engined, Reid Railton designed car, holds the Brooklands Track outer circuit lap record at 143.44 mph in perpetuity - or at least until we can completely rebuild the track again give time and history yet to be written.
