Chitty 1 with stove chimney silencer box Chitty Chitty Bang Bang 1 in the garage at Louis Zborowski's Kent Mansion, Higham. Zborowski's team were a very colourful band of professional enthusiasts known for their flamboyant clothes and readiness for a jape. There is no record of the car actually racing with the top of the wood-stove chimney actually fastened to the end of the exhaust pipe. |
