The 2010 Individual Event Awards.

This year the Society will be making four of the individual event awards which it successfully introduced in 2009. Engraved Society tankards will go to the best performance against handicap by genuine Brooklands cars at all the main 2010 vintage meetings at pre-war venues which this year will be the VSCC's sprint at Brooklands in June, the vintage Shelsley and Prescott hillclimbs in July and August, and the VSCC 'See Red' race meeting at Donington in October.

As in 2009 the awards will come in the form of tankards engraved with the Society's badge, the winner's name and details of the event and the winner's car. The tankards, for retention in perpetuity, will be presented at the Society's annual dinner which is expected to be held in the Brooklands Clubhouse at Weybridge towards the end of November 2010.

No pre-registration is necessary to qualify for an award. The award winners will be announced about ten days after each event when the official results have been published by the organising club and the handicap performance rankings calculated by the Society.

The dates of the four events this year are as follows:
5 June 2010, VSCC Brooklands Sprint.
4 July 2010, Vintage Shelsley Walsh Hillclimb.
7/8 August 2010, VSCC Prescott Hillclimb.
2/3 September 2010, VSCC Donington Race Meeting.

The winners of the four 2010 individual event awards, with details and photographs of the winning cars, will be published on this website as they are announced.
