de Dion Bouton et Trépardoux Quadricycle

This is the restrored winner , and only finisher, of the world's first motor race. The race was the Paris-Neuilly race held on the 28th April 1888 and this car completed it averaging 16 mph over 19 miles. The car is owned by Tim Moore. I can vouch for the fact that it is quite nippy because it nearly ran me over when I was walking backwards taking a photo of another car. Just think I could have made history - the first man to be knocked down by a 110 year old car!
