Ferrari 375 Mille Miglia

To give it its full title this is chassis 0286MM, a Vignale Spyder 4.5 litre entered by Bruce McCaw and driven by Phil Hill.

It was built as a works one-off taking first place in the 1953 1,000 Km race at the Nurburgring.

It retired in the 1953 Carrera PanAmericana in the hands of Chinetti/de Portago but went on to take second place in the hands of Phil Hill and Richie Ginther in the 1954 event.
