1986. March Ford 86C Kraco/STP 2.6
litre Entrant: Ten Tenths Ltd (UK) Driver: Nick Mason (UK) Chassis '05' - March Engineering dominated CART racing in the mid 80's. This is Michael Andretti's 1986 car in which he led Indy and Portland. This car also won at Phoenix lapping all other competitors twice taking a 205 mph pole at Pocono. Power is 950bhp at 10,500 rpm. 1965. Lotus Ford
34 - 4.2 litre Jim Clark's 1964 Indianapolis pole car and race leader in which he won the Milwaukee 200 with Parnelli Jones who rebuilt it for 1965 as the Kujman Lotus Agajanian Hurst Special. In this incarnation it took second at Indianapolis and first again at Milwaukee. Since then Parnelli Jones has restored it to its works 1964 specification. |
