Napier Gordon Bennett

Napier Gordon Bennett 6.5 litre owned by Johnny Thomas. This was the first aluminium monobloc, four cylinder shaft drive car which has been restored from the major remaining parts. It is the world's oldest British racing car and was the first British car to win an international race, the Gordon Bennett Trophy in 1902, driven by Selwyn Francis Edge the man who later took the first ever 24 hour endurance record at Brooklands Track in June 1907 before it was opened for general competition, in a later car.
