Main Map Members' Banking Members' Hill Finishing Straight Byfleet Banking Introduction
80x1.gif (49 bytes)
Photograph of the eastern section of the Byfleet Banking taken March 2002. This section is several hundred metres long and runs back towards the Brooklands clubhouse. Out of view at the end of this section is a modern housing estate. As can be seen the top rim of the banking is covered in moss, clumps of grass and ivy with some gorse encroaching on to the surface. The surface is very good indeed for the most part. It needs cleaning up but this would be a quick job for a team of competent landscapers - probably two weeks at most.
